Permanent magnetic power plant separators, or cross belts as they are commonly called, are used in most power plants to remove any unwanted iron that gets into the system and onto the belts. An armored belt is available if the parts are sharp.

Permanent magnetic power plant separators, or cross belts as they are commonly called, are used in most power plants to remove any unwanted iron that gets into the system and onto the belts. An armored belt is available if the parts are sharp.
Designed with small structure, it is suitable for use in hard to reach places.
Easy to maintain.
Much lighter in weight than larger devices.
Easily adjustable belt tracking system.
They cleanse themselves of iron residues that they remove.
Can be equipped with a hydraulic drive for areas with limited or no power supply.
Use either rare earth or ceramic magnets, depending on the strength and work required.
The permanent magnetic separator for power plant is used to remove iron residues from the conveyor belt to protect downstream equipment and conveyor belts. They are used to remove bolts, nuts or any foreign iron mixed with the coal being transported. Stray iron is very harmful to conveyor belts, crushing and grinding equipment, and a permanent magnetic separator is critical to the safety of power plants.
