At this exhibition, Longi Optical presented practical examples of innovative applications of LPPC and LPNC intelligent sorting machines in lead-zinc ore processing. Thanks to the combination of two machines, a completely dry processing flowsheet and intelligent recognition technology, Longi offers efficient and environmentally friendly complete solutions for difficult and refractory ores.
Part one – Debut at the exhibition
1. Intelligent LPPC sorting machine with fluorescent recognition
LPPC uses X-ray based intelligent recognition technology to accurately detect internal differences in the elemental composition of ore. It is suitable for pre-sorting and rejecting coarse ore. With high throughput and sorting accuracy, the machine effectively reduces the grinding and beneficiation load in downstream processes, ensuring early waste rejection, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
2. Intelligent LPNC sorting machine with visualization
Based on X-ray recognition, LPNC combines high-resolution image recognition and deep learning algorithms to achieve accurate sorting of complex minerals. It is used for pre-sorting and waste disposal of medium and fine ores, and can be flexibly combined with LPPC to meet different particle size screening requirements.
3. Combination of two machines: full particle size coverage
The combined LPPC and LPNC process provides efficient sorting of ores ranging from 15 mm to 150 mm across the entire particle size range. Working in tandem and taking full advantage of their technical advantages, the two models make mining of low-grade oxidized lead-zinc ores - previously unprofitable - commercially viable again, delivering significant improvements in resource utilization.
4. Completely dry processing technology, environmentally friendly and green
The entire process is based on completely dry waste sorting and disposal technology. No water is required for operation, which completely eliminates the dependence on water resources characteristic of traditional wet concentration. It also reduces the environmental burden and safety risks associated with the construction and maintenance of tailings ponds. This technical solution is particularly suitable for mines in water-scarce areas and projects under strict environmental regulations.
5. Deep integration of smart technologies
The equipment integrates advanced technologies such as multi-dimensional detection and analysis, big data-based image synthesis algorithms and machine learning. Thanks to continuous self-learning and iteration of the model, the recognition accuracy consistently exceeds 98%. The entire processing line is equipped with an intelligent control and maintenance system, providing self-diagnosis of equipment status, automatic adjustment of process parameters and active early warning of faults.
Part Two - Application Data Validation
Consider a large oxidized lead and zinc mine as a practical example: after implementing combined LPPC and LPNC screening, the ore grade in the concentrate increased to over 15% and the ore grade in the waste was controlled to below 2%. The economic and environmental benefits are significant.
Part Three – Exhibition Highlights
At the exhibition site, Longi Optical's stand attracted many representatives from the mining industry, who stopped to discuss issues in detail.
Yao Lingchun, Deputy Secretary General of the China Battery Manufacturers Association, and his entourage visited the stand to inspect and familiarize themselves with the products. He highly appreciated Longi Optical's technological breakthroughs in the processing of oxidized lead-zinc ores and fully recognized them.
Frequent in-depth technical discussions and business negotiations have continuously expanded Longi Optical's industry network in the mineral processing industry. This exhibition not only received widespread industry recognition, but also further strengthened the company's confidence in contributing to the environmental transformation of the mining industry through technological innovation.
